Hi I've just joined I have been browsing the forum for a few weeks now. I have been carp fishing for around 15 years mostly in kent but have only really fished easy to medium waters. I have just taken the step up to quite a hard fishery across the road from where I live run by MKF in Larkfield so may be after a few tips.

Hello all, forgot I had this account. So never got round to posting an introduction.

Anyway I'm jack. Been fishing for 40 years, mainly sea fishing with a bit of coarse. Last year I started carp fishing, didn't get chance to fish much last season as I had a serious neck injury. Anyway started my season a month ago and started with a lovely 10lbs common from Kingston fishery in Warwickshire. Also fished bishops bowls lots of times, mainly course fishing, but once or twice for the carp, blanked big time, but been new at the time don't think helped. Hopefully this season I can get my first carp on the bottom form there.

Both of these lakes are only 10 mins from my house so I'm a bit spoilt think I prefer Kingston as its less commercial for me, plus it has a nice head of Carp for a small fishery, will be fishing it again this week, hoping to bank a couple of the carp in there.

Anyway that's enough waffle from me, might see a few of you around as I see Bishops bowls is popular on here.

Hi to Everybody,

I'm Rainer from Germany (as you can see from my nick-name). I'm mid 40 and I'm fishing since more than 30 years and especially since rabout 25years specialized on carp.

My english-grammer are not the best (also spelling) - so please accept my excuse in advance.

Have a nice time on the bank and always a wet and tight line.

Thx & BR
Rainer

New member, been on here a few weeks but forgot to make an introduction here

located nr Dartford, Kent,

been carp fishing since about 2006/2007, used to fish Darenth Lakes, alot and grew up fishing them, mainly the Long Lake and had some good fish out of there,

Stopped fishing in 2010, and this year ive got back into it fully,

aim for the year is to catch a 20lb+ (pb is 33lb 7oz english, but only had 3 20's so want to catch some more)

probably be back on ddaps very soon fishing kirby or sutton

Hi all, hoping to refresh myself as I aim to 'get back' into Carping after a lay off of quite a few years...

I'll look with interest on the latest happenings, techniques and how much gear I need to update or chuck out!!
