This thread makes me think that someone should be contacting Trading Standards over their behaviour.

I subscribe for a month, watch a few films, then cancel again for ages. I've done it 3 times and never had an issue. You just have to keep going through the 'are you sure you want to cancel'. It was the same with Carpfix. I've never had a problem but seems like others have.

Sorry you're giving wrong information about CarpFix. It's very easy to cancel via the website, go to the billing page in ‘my account' and you can cancel there. No questions asked and no waiting time. If you sign up via an app you need to cancel direct with Apple/Google as your subscription is managed by them. This can be done in the relevant AppStore.

Regards, Scott.

That is true, I cancelled Carpfix very easily when I decided I no longer wanted it.

Sorry Scott, I was just trying to make the point that it was straightforward to cancel and not difficult. I tend to subscribe for a bit, watch a few, cancel, and then resign up. Love the content you guys are doing.

I wonder how much life there is left in these subscription platforms, seems every dog and his dick is having ago and I get the feeling people are not staying with it for long just from this small thread alone and others I've seen, I get the impression they're not what they're cracked up to be, with the exception of possibly Daryl Peck just by his social media count and presence who might make a fist of it with enough subscribing to make it a viable project but the others I think will have a short shelf life.

I don't think you can put Cypography in the same bracket as the Twig and re-hooking fish....

I don't think this forum is a very good representative of the Carp fishing world. I think mostly this forum represents an older angler with probably a more old school mentality.

There's a newer generation of angler who probably don't even remember a time before cypography existed I haven't got a clue how many subs these people get, some of them don't seem to really push the advertising very hard either, I'm.guessing because they don't have too.

To be fair, if you are close to Burghfield it may be worth the drive for some

Elliot G is making a very good living out of cypography.

I think it's rubbish value tbh but others obviously think differently

Yeah, I'm sure if people started turning up at Bughfield wanting to chat with him about this, the cancellation issue would soon be rectified.

Thank god for that
When I did do FB it reminds me of a guy trying to contact Carp Lounge, "I've sent them 6 messages today and they've not replied"...wth
And the lad at Baden Hall who had 2 cans of Redbull while I chatted to him for 10 mins, he was like a cat on a hot tin roof, swapped swims 3 times in a hour.
I can't imagine the stress it causes the younger generation not to get a instant reply...it makes me wonder why they have the patience for Fishing full stop*

Yes a sweeping generalisation from a older angler, flame me

OK, they guys admin might leave a bit to be desired, he needs to sort that out and get cancellations sorted swiftly when requested, but this thread is a classic example of the modern culture of slagging off anyone who is being reasonably successful.

Elliot may not be everyone's cup of tea but he's obviously doing well and people are happy to pay for his services. Good luck to the bloke I say.
