Google "Keith Moores Running Rig" or search on this forum - he uses the Enterprise plastic rings, c-clips and silicon sleeves to do just what you're after.

fox angled run beads, great bit of kit easy to change lead size or remove for transportation

thats all I use and change length of hooklink depending on bottom, plus the extra distance (as in the distance between the clip eye and bottom of lead) also helps if its silty etc
