There is a way of doing this, hold door handle open,push toggle down,close door.
I'll try tomorrow after my delivery, I need to get away and listen to a different alarm.
Hopefully my fob batteries arrive in the morning too.
I've taken to drink 🍸 🙃 for escapism, all further correspondence may be encoded.

You took your time

Maybe it's not something that is setting the alarm off. Maybe the alarm itself has developed an internal intermittent fault.
Something like a dry joint inside, bad capacitor etc etc

The issue would appear to be solved.
The manual explains how to disable the ultrasonic sensor (hold handle open,depress locking tab,release handle and close door). This worked. Now my fob batteries have arrived and normal procedure has resumed.
