Green version looks much better IMO. Customer service for me has always been spot on but i have only ever returned stuff that wasnt damaged or that i had a actual problem with and simply changed my mind....... 
Like for like against trakker i would take Cyprinus all day long as they use a heavier grade Aquatex and much cheaper....

can you not make cam locks tight again if they get a bit worn anyway ?
ive got a cyprinus HQ 2 man it uses the cam lock system never seen any slipping .i had a trakker tempest before and that was great to erect but leaked and the pole system was poor with elastics snapping all the time ,the quality of the cyprinus i have is superior even though made in the same factory ,it cost a nearly a third of the price inc a overwrap.
just my findings

But these three camlock poles need a stable support in the form of the two stormpoles, don't they ?
Guess without the locked lever from the standard Tempest they would follow the gravitational force downwards, if they are not supported by the stormpoles.
Think this is a significant difference to the Tempest which you could just unfold and put anywhere without additional poles.

the Cam locks put me right off straight away. I have had camlock banksticks etc in the past & not one of them has lasted more than a season before they start to wear down. Nice concept but let down again by using something that if it worked more companies would be using them instead of thumb wheels of knurled collars (like the Solar PosiLock) which would have allowed the same sort of tightening without having to worry about things sticking up into the skull cap or wrap. I will buy a Trakker one as at least if anything goes wrong I can take back to my dealers front counter and get them to get it sorted instead of boxing it up & having to pay to have it sent back to them and waiting forever for a replacement.

If you think having to wrap tape around your £450 bivvy frame to keep it working is acceptable then go ahead. I wouldn't call that acceptable on a £100 item (Delkim battery cover advise so you can use them in the rain direct from them anyone?)

It's funny how most have decided the cam locks will fail even before anyone actually has one and has reviewed the quality of them. Cyprinus is doing a brilliant job in breaking the monopoly of the big guys and all people do is try and find fault.

Well I'm gonna buck the trend on here as I think it looks rather good. I'm not worried if the front is fixed as if it's that warm I'd be using a brolly.
As an owner of two other cyprinus shelters both with wraps. The quality isn't a problem for me as both have been perfect.
Not a camo fan even though I have a dpm4. I'd definitely hold on for the green if I was gonna get one.

No im not having a moan, just want to know if the front can be removed.
I think that's a nice looking shelter.
