Are the #2 bug likely to be different in a fishing situation or just that you had less waste and an easier boil process?

Only for us mate. No difference at all for you lot. The difference for us is astronomical though. Two large mixes of Bug balanced went in the bin after boiling last time. Even when they were done perfect last time, half the mix was still not suitable for sale because of misshapes.

This time, by double cooking them, without the need to add any binders at all, not one hook bait went into the bin. It's like exactly the same mix, is completely different. But it's not.

The base mix does not like heat. Last time they were eventually cooked for far longer in 85c water. And still half the mix did not like it. This time on the second boil, the water could be raised up to 100c. They cooked perfect, and there was zero loss for us.

The last of our Xmas orders have just been processed and are going this morning. Lots of deliveries last week for larger orders, had a tub of extra freebies put in. Happy Christmas.

Yesterday was our last big delivery day before Xmas. Every single parcel, big or small had at least one tub of freebies added to it that left us yesterday. That was a lot of parcels, and then more early this morning. Many of those parcels will be forum members, or watching in as guests. Happy Christmas. (Ladbrokes generously paid).

Non publicity venue this morning, photos that cannot be shown, a truly incredible carp.

Cheese will not be available until the website can be sorted out. It needs its own page. That simply cannot be physically done as a 'special order'.

Next round of special orders, will be more Bug, more F1, plus Sticky Krill pop ups and balanced next time. But that will not be happening until the end of Jan.

Merry Christmas & a happy new year to you all.

I saved your details last time Neil. Your number is saved on our work phone. I have not even spoken to the Fortis lads yet, who built and have always sorted our website. I have been to busy. I do know Fortis is the much bigger part of their working days than websites by far now. But Darran has helped us a lot over the years, so there's a lot of loyalty there from our side.

We do need quite a bit done right now. We need a new website built soon too I'd imagine. That one is more than ten years old now.

FishOn Ricci, 42lb12oz Ashbury fisheries, S2 over Krill & the shops particle.

"To be honest, I was still buzzing from last week's capture and although confident this week the temperature had plummeted. It felt freezing!
The first night passed with nothing, no surprise really but I did see a couple show and remained confident.
Ash came down to visit and as the kettle was boiling for the second time my alarm let out a series of bleeps indicating a drop back. I walked up to my rods wound down and lifted into a heavy weight. We both agreed it was a gooden by the way it was fighting. Big head shakes and staying deep.
Annoyingly it picked up one of my lines and so it came to a halt. Paying line off from the other rod meant the fish was on the move again but shortly after stopped again. I couldn't move it!
I put on my torch and lit up absolute unit that was sat on top of the weed only 10 yards out!
I put the waders on a hoped to walk out to net it. Ash said it was too deep and it was, as I got closer a good helping of freezing cold water went down my waders! Christ it was cold! I got the line in my hand and with a different angle the fish started coming towards me, it was just a case of slowly pulling it back until it was over the net that. It was a proper struggle to lift but, wet legs, freezing, the fish was in the net! We both cheered and laughed.. what just happened?!? I was half way through making a tea!
Ash confirmed it was a fish called Orange Spot, one that hadn't been out since August. And it looked massive! A very front heavy old carp, a proper character and one I had my eyes on hoping to catch and I had!
She weighed in at 42.12! It's biggest ever weight and my third 40lber in a few weeks!"

Hi,
Fully understand, we're here should you need us.
Keen to help as I'm curious to try the cheese
Love the GPB1, GPB2 (very confident using as singles) and S3 (great on a silty reservoir where S3 retains its aroma where match the hatch hookbaits come back smelling of silt or of nothing.
Have a great Christmas
Cheers
Neil.

FishOn Joe has been catching some really lovely carp recently. 2 x 30+ from what he describes as his 'session of a lifetime' just before Xmas.

GPB1 balanced over the shops particle and Krill. That top one is such a beautiful carp.

David, pink S2

Andy S2 over Creamino, Hacche moor fishery.

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas with your families. We had quite a few messages over Xmas asking if any F1 were available, from people who had seen their mates tubs on the bank over Xmas.

We have loads of F1 done in both sizes and variations. We only have a few tubs of Bug balanced & pop ups left currently. I'll post details again below.

If you are interested in ordering any of the above, please text or WhatsApp message us on our work mobile. (Contact page of website). You will be told what to order from our website. Please include the full name which will be on the order, and also what amounts you require. Please include sizes, pop ups, or balanced in that very first message. You will be told what you need to order from our website.

We are completely up to date with all orders up till early this morning. Orders from over Christmas went this morning. Our next delivery day after today will be the 2nd of January.

hi Mark,

I've got some s2 amd gbp1 and 2 amd I've stored them in a ridgemonkey multi pot things that screws together, some of the baits seem a bit dry, they're 18 months old. Will these be OK to carry on using or is there anything I can add to them or would you just leave them and use them as they are.

many thanks
