Hi guys so as we all know Mark is a awesome guy that makes some good products. so this is the new thread where we can share catch reports ask questions and all things positive and bait. Hope this is ok Mark as it is your company. any hints and tips with bait are welcome.
I never post my catches but I think Mark could probably do with the occasional positive input!
Besides, although thoroughly inconclusive, it's an impressive turnaround in fortunes if not a bloody coincidence.
Been trying my luck at a new water. Quite a large water.
Done about 7 short blank sessions, then my SHB's arrived.
Did one more short overnighter last weekend as work is mental right now, BANG 25-8 mirror.
Only thing I changed was added a GPB1 snowman style to the end of my usual B5's.

I've been hammering them out of my local and also picked fish up on singles in Canada on both S2's and the garlics.
Thumbs up from me.

Didn't catch on the s2's through the winter but no one caught a thing, I've been doing well on worms on a new water so I'll put 2 worms on two rods and one on s2 fish the same spots that I've caught from and let you know how it goes this weekend

A lot of my fishing is short sessions and overnighters casting at showing fish. They seem to be perfect for that.

I've had a lot of fish on the S3's (it's S3 that's the spicy smelling one yeah?)
I need to give the S2's a proper go, but I like the spicy smell so much myself I just keep using those!
I have suppressed the useless posts below.
For those who are on the site more than me, please let me know if anyone is a 'serial dickhead' and I will suppress the user too.
I'll delete the posts at some point to neaten the thread
Thanks,
Karlos

I've not tried them yet, are you using them in warm water? I read somewhere they work better when it's red hot.

S3 or S2's? I've only used s2 in winter, says it should be about 18 this weekend though

S3s are my favourite , dark aniseed / spicy sort of smell but go a lighter colour in the water.

Well lads just done a week on open access Acton burnell and came out last in draw of 15 anglers so ended up on black dicks lake or bottom Acton in the deeps the fish just wasn't there. I kept seeing fish move down the shallow arm across from me nothing massive as majority of the units was in the pads in the shallows other end of the lake. I tryed all sorts of tactics and bait for these fish and as every peg was full my only option was a bit of stalking In the shallow arm across. Now in the arm I tryed beds of bait fish spooked off it comin in taking one and moving out. I tryed casting to showing fish they spooked off it. more than a single line in the water you guessed it these fish spooked off it. These was no mug fish these was fish that had seen it all. So after watching and learning there patrol route and watching anglers on the far side where the fish moved I worked out they was fishin it all wrong and at 2.45 every day a pod of fish would work there way up that side of the lake the sun was on that side. So naturals must be more prevalent there. Id tryed nealy every bait pop wafter i had with me.So desperation was calling having cast a single tigernut to a spot id seen fish to no avail I was running out of ideas. in my bag I had a second hand pot of marks s1 corkers so though why not. I waded out in the arm and placed the rig quietly as I could paying loads of the 18lb sensor to hug the contours of the lake I placed my single bankstick in the long grass and led down 3 hours later full on one toner I was made up worked very hard for that and took 3 days of messing but got my first fish and like buses every day was the same biggest fish was just shy of thirty but dropped a serious fish. Ended my week with 5 bites 4 fish all thanks to the s1 marks baits. So all in all these saved my week deffo worth a try

Nice one Jim. I'm glad you caught mate. And you CPK. Well done to Keebs, you're very modest, and that is a very special fish you caught.
It's nice to read some nice comments on here for once, thank you.

I incorrectly ordered the naturally coloured s2's, but after using them and seeing the washed out colour I'm sold on it.
