Whats your 'go to' company for particle bait? I've ordered from monster particle on a couple of occasions, just interested to hear of any competition thats worth checking out?
monster.. i dont think it will be to long before they have the market sewn up for particle.
Your local seed / bird food merchant , less than half the price

If quality is what your after id avoid monster. The hemp I've had off of them was awful tried it more than once aswell never again. Big dog particles do quality well prepared particle of various sorts, not slap dash rubbish, pay for what you get in my eyes.

I've never bought prepared particles from anywhere that have been half as good as you can do yourself. That includes Monster.

Has anyone tried Barr angling, i am thinking of getting some tigers and nutmix off them. For a French trip.

Yeah Big Dog is a good shout. Dan knows his stuff. Proper time served carp angler. Not interested in smashing out volumes, just quality. My mate had some of his tiger nut hookers that were very nice. I think he still does them.

I get my dry hemp from maltbys on ebay, £27 for 20kg of dry hemp delivered. Superb quality. I get my dry tigers from Chapmans in Twickenham when passing. Again, superb quality. No way would o buy prepared particles.

Ive bought from hinders the last few years, not cheap but the hemp splits very easily, good quality tigers as well

The hemp ive had from Monster has been poor at best. The last lot is tiny and hardly any has split.
Previous orders were ok but never what id call good quality. I won't be using them again.
Their tigers and monster mixes are fine though. Cheshire particle is my preferred choice now, bit more expensive but definitely better quality,

I have always used Hinders for Tigers Hemp and Pellets.
Redband pigeon conditioner from local farm shops.

For tigers & peanuts, Dan at Big Dog for sure! Top bloke to deal with as well & not out to screw anyone over.
For hemp & other particles, if I can't do them myself or have no room in freezer for a large amount (I get sacks of particle from local tackle shop for a good price - essentially cost - as a favour for being a good customer with no carriage so cannot complain), I will use the Dynamite jars. Always top notch quality, easy to store for quick sessions without worrying about going rancid if left in the car in the summer. Don't mind spending the extra for convenience & any left over goes into a bag in the freezer for left over hemp/conditioner mix (never a lot in there TBH as only used for remnants of a jar & will use this first before the gear I may have in there prepared)

About 12 years ago, I hit gold when I was overheard about wanting to buy some maples in an agricultural equestrian shop , I came across a farmer who prepared feed for pigeon fanciers, asked me how many I wanted and I said about 5 kilo's, he told me he had 10 ton of them at his farm. When I visited his farm, it was a massive business, I have never seen so many different particles in one place. All down the centre of the barn was tubs ready for dispatch all filled with "feeds" for different pigeon fanciers to their own specifications which he had made up. And all round the barn was palletts and sacks of particles.
The best bit was the price, everything was about half price you would get from a bait dealer, probably because he had that much, he could sell cheap. His price list was just a chalk board on the wall as prices were always flutuating, they was always changing.
I came away with sack of maples, hemp, maize, tares, red dari seeds and white dari seeds and paid around £25 for the lot. They lasted me for a while, but when I went back for more, he had retired and closed the business, farm sold and moved away.
I tried tracking him down to no avail and have been unable to find anyone else who does the same or tok over. Usually though I get my particles from the big pet and animal food dealers who are cheaper than bait dealers.

Wow I have to say fantastic customer service. Impact Particles Offered a full refund or resend the bait. As only 2 bags were damaged I said resend. This was done within 12 hrs of a email on a Sunday. The parcel was damaged by DPD they even repackaged it. But not well. First class product and service. Love the hemp maize tiger mix.

As above, just prepare your own. £100 outlay on particle, burner, catering pot and a burner, but you can cycle the bait to ensure you always have 10kg+ of fermented particle at the ready. Thankfully i've now got blokes at work buying some off me to keep the numbers down if I don't get to go as much as I'd like to myself.

I've used them several times in the past, but not lately. Very good product no problems apart from a courier breaking one of the buckets, which really can't be blamed on the supplier

There's a few shops in the Cotswold that stock his bait, he says he's not taking on more custom but i think a insta message would change his mind.
