I'm looking at getting the Boatman Actor Pro which comes with a built in sonar. I'm currently fishing a very shallow lake which is about 2 1/2 to 5 feet deep. The website states a minimum depth of 2 1/2 feet so hopefully I should be ok. However do you think it would be worth me getting the standard Actor with a Deeper CHIRP attached. Thanks

Always easier to have it built into the boat but you can get a chirp 4 and boat separate for less and the sonar will be must better.

Thanks Stuart. Yes I was thinking along these lines but I don't really want to be holding 2 devices at the same time unless I can find a phone holder that will clip to the remote. Also might be worth upgrading to the Vulcan mini too as it's not much more money.

GS tackle do a mount that goes on controller and holds your phone so still only using one hand. Ive had actor and vulcan and the vulcan is a much bettter boat and has a better handset.
