I havent used the 11fts but I have a set of 3.25 10ft hi s for boat work. Excellent rods for boat work both proper boat and bait boat. Enough power to play in fish from the bank and tippy enough for playing fish from above in a boat. Really light blanks that I have paired with 25qda reels
