Evening all

I have a big boy triporter with the knobbly tyres probably 6 years old. This week one of the tyres has gone flat. Upon checking all the tyres have got splitting around the knobbly treads. Now is the time to start thinking about fitting slicks so i can drift around the pond no really can i fit other carp porter wheels or normal wheelbarrow wheels. Trying to get rid of knobbly tyres as they go

Any helpful advice greatfully received.

I have a Triporter and just bought a power conversion kit for it. My front wheel was puncture proof so i have ordered another so i can replace both rear wheels with them.

Puncture proof is the way to go but they do have their own problems mainly cracking. Mine have some severe cracks that have appeared on them but soon sorted by injecting rubber glue into the cracks but you have to keep on top of it. I am sure at some point I will need to replace them completely.
