Hi All,

Once bought how long do worms normally last?
Any recommendations for storing them before a session?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I used to store mine for weeks on the floor of the garage or shed in the hessian sack they come in, once a week i would get them out and remove any dead ones as they dont do well with dead worms in there.

For me it depends on the worm's,dendros and brandlings id use a bit of peat free compost, for lobworms use topsoil and a little turf lid. A bit of vermaculite mixed through helps with aeration and moisture retention and as andy said check them fairly regularly.
Are you sure?
