Hi guys I currently use the Harrison aviator rods in 13ft which are very nice casting and have a good playing action but when originally buying them I was hoping they would be a bit stiffer and more of a casting rod.
My question is how much more power does the 13ft plus 2 have and how do they compare to the treb lights.
You mostly see the plus 2's in 13ft being built now and not many treb lights. Are they a replacement for the treb lights or are the treb lights more powerful thank you

I think there is a comparison curve on the Harrison website and they are virtually the same.

This rod leads the way in real-world distance fishing. A proper fishing rod anyone can cast and capable of fishing comfortably passed 150 yards. For more information on performance head to the distance rod page here.
My personal preferred build for this rod is with high stand off Ti Forged guides or Kigan ZD guides if you are using braid.
The performance lies close to our legendary Trebuchet Light in terms of power as can be seen from the power curves here on the left, but it has a little more initial flex due to a slightly slimmer tip. A few grammes lighter and half a mm slimmer
This shows deflection under load of four rods including the 13' Treb light and Aviators 3 ½ and Plus 2 3 3/4 . The most powerful rod is the lowest curve, deflecting least. The Treb light and 13' Plus 2 are very close in action, the Treb Light being just a fraction more powerful. In practice the casting potential of the two rods is little different. The Aviator has weave to the tip which is slightly slimmer, and is a few grammes lighter.
