Having given up drinking recently, I have a couple of left over cases of beer at home which I'm thinking of using to soak my feed boilies a few days before fishing. Should I or shouldn't I?

I'm not convinced as far as boilies are concerned but perhaps look into soaking particles in it and encouraging fermentation ?
