Just wondering if people have experience with either of these rods or ideally both.

Looking for a set of rods for distance and i dont want to break the bank.

Ive got it down to the kaizen green 13s or Free Spirit Helical 13s.

What would you go with?

Kaizen green every time,Freespirit off the shelf are horrendous build quality.Their customer service is also shocking

I'd go with the Kaizens, surprisingly light and don't feel like a 13ft rod in the hand

I have a set of 13ft 3.5lb Stepped up Helicals, with 50mm butt rings, and I like them, as a casting tool and a fishing rod

By that I mean, they are not TOO POKEY, still nice to play fish on.
At £120 a rod offer fantastic value for money.
But just check them over for ring/reel seat alinement, etc, luckily the Tackle box staff did this for me, quality service as always

Try to see and feel both rods in the flesh, as it is such a personal decision.
