I got talked into buying a memory foam bed — a Nash, in this case — and the foam is already worn out and the bed is quite heavy. Are self-inflating mats (SIMs) as comfortable? I imagine they last longer since they're inflatable. I'm not keen on spending another £400 to replace the bed again in 18 months.

Any recommendations for a good SIM?

Go on Amazon search Unigear Ultralite inflatable sleeping pad £18.99 their exactly what I use 2 of them on my fox mk2 flatliner underneath the sleeping bag make the bedchair so so comfy yes you have to self inflate them
