I'm moving onto a new lake this year which is just under 30 acres, by far the biggest lake I've fished. However there are some limits on casting distances in a lot of the swims I think the most is 25 wraps. Some are 20 wraps and even down to 15 wraps elsewhere as there are a lot of out of bounds areas.
At the moment i have some 12ft 3lb HiS rods which I love but I fear I need something beefier now.
Any recommendations?

Depends on budget I guess?
Maybe chop your 3lb HiS in and get a new set of 3.5lb?
Personally I'd look at the Tacklebox CFX range. The 12' 3.25lb is good up to around 120yds (30 wraps). The 3.5lb will obviously cast further, but are more tip action, so not as nice to play fish on. The continentals I would say are the CFX equivalent of the HiS'iveER if you know what I mean. They have a casting weight of 3-5oz instead of a test curve. They are easier for the average caster to compress and get good distances with.

Speak to kev Clayton, he custom builds Harrison, freespirit and has his own blanks for his code rods.
Build quality is amazing, the Harrison and freespirits probably won't cost much more than the factory built ones and I have some of his code rods and they are amazing and will save you a few quid
