Know a few lads who use it who are very good anglers who fish some tough waters and absolutely swear by the stuff and won't use anything else. The illiminous green glow in the dark just puts me off, I've never personally had issues at night to the extent I think I need a glow in the dark line.

Taking the glow in the dark properties away everything else I'm told about the line sounds very good

I spooled up with synapse eclipse as my lake is quite weedy and requires a boat to land anything in the warmer weather. Ive found the katran to be quite wirey in comparison to the syncro i changed for it. Its not low strech either. It doesnt twist as such, instead does some sort of wierd multidirectional thing which i actually cannot think of a word for. It does come out in use, but returns whenever you bring in a fish or a lump of weed.
In relation to the colour, with the synapse eclipse, the bright green blends in pretty well
On the bottom, its the black bits that show out, but i didn't feel it affected my catch rate
Im going back to the syncro when i get a chance
