Hi All.

Do the Emblem spod reel (not the new style) spools fit the Emblem XA/ZA in 4500 size? I know they fit the 500 side but wasn't sure on the 4500

I believe that the Emblem ‘T' (ie ZT, XT, ST) 4500 has a smaller body that's the 5000/5500 size.

Unsure if it's the same for the ZA/XA emblems.

Basically seeing if The spod reel spools will fit the X5000A

Emblem ZA and XA, Infinity big pit and emblem pro spools in any size fit the emblem Spod reel and are interchangeable

Any emblem ending in a T, the spools do not fit the reels above

Yes the spod reel spool is the same size and has same spool shaft dia and is compatible with the 4500, 5000 and 5500za spools and vice versa these spools will fit on the original daiwa spod reel.

The one to be careful of is the infinity spool as the infinity has a bigger dia spool shaft so the emblem spools wont fit on the infinity, however the infinity spools will physically fit on the emblem but may not "centre" properly
