So I had issues previously of not being able to tighten the collar fully so it span but now one of them seems to have been over tightened and I can't undo it even with the little tool thing. Anyone got any idea or a trick on how to undo it

You could try sticking it in the freezer

Use some WD40, mine stuck, using that freed it
