Can anyone tell me if the goal post style rod pods use standard 16mm bank sticks please. I am looking at either Prologic, Nash or Sonik. Its for a particular tight, sloping swim, and will probably need to add longer sticks. I have emailed Sonik with no answer. Many thanks.

The Sonik Vader rod pod uses 16mm sticks. I had the same problem, only a gently sloping bank but the sticks that come with the pod, far too small especially if the ground is soft and you need to push them in to secure the pod. The sticks I bought were 16mm JRC sticks.

I got a cygnet compact pod, goalpost style, the base is only £30 from tft.
Then got some cheapo 16mm ali poles from ebay,

I've got a Sonik SKS Black pod, I think it is called. Can defo confirm that this uses 16mm upright poles. Can also confirm that the older green Nash camlock bankstix fit it and they are also 16mm, 5/8” diameter.
