Morning all,

I know in the past that there was a trend where people were making portable power stations (giant power banks) out of bait buckets?

I am looking to make one myself using LiFe-Po batteries which according to my research, are the best batteries for liesure use, small form factor, high capacity and can be recharged 1,000's without affecting battery life.

Wondering if anyone knows of any decent guides that they may have followed in the past...

I started looking at ammunition box builds like this, might be useful for ya.

I made one

It was out of a plastic storage box complete with a on/off switch,usb ports and a cigarette port 👍

I've made a couple.now, made this one a few years back and it is the best for me, probably due to the battery size..I didn't splash out on lithium batteries though so it is heavy however I can change this of course. He has done a few guides on his channel. Good luck

I have made several over the time. I use lithium on my kayak now, 20A and 12A so I just use them. I have them in clip lock boxes and Velcro a 3A twin usb on the outside. Fast charging and easy. If you want any pictures pm me.

Think I need to up my game, I just use a small car battery, £20 off Facebook and a clip on accessory socket
