Looking at getting a new sleep system. I fancy a solar or trakker system. But been told avid is good. What you guys recommend ?

avid don't do many good things, solar seem to have a pretty good following but it's quite a firm bed if that's your thing.

To be honest. I'm on the large side. About 14 stone. But only short. Maby a firm mattress would be better for me ?? Not shore

Recently purchased the Solar Mk2 with memory foam. Done 12 nights on it. While a bit on the heavier side than some on the market, I find it extremely comfortable. 👍

I have the trakker 4-leg system and am about 16 stone and it's great for me...bloody heavy though.
I had an avid a-spec chair it was mega comfy for a short while until it fell apart and avid didn't want to know. Wouldn't buy anything avid again tbh.

I have the solar c tech and it absolutely cripples me. I have a bad back and i don't get a wink of sleep on it. I'm a side sleeper and it's just to firm I think. I'm sure the new memory foam one is a big improvement and they are very well built so will last am absolute age. One thing that's a bit annoying is there is no option for a leg at the foot end of the bed, seems a bit outdated just offering the standard 3 leg model. Might just be me that it annoys though
I have heard the same thing about the avid beds in that they fall apart but a mate of mine has the new one. He's had zero issues and absolutely loves it, not sure I'd have the confidence to buy one though

The legs on the new Solar bed are spread out more and the foot end folds closer to the end of the bed.

Put a self inflating mattress on it, it's a game changer. I'm a side sleeper and didn't get on with the bed when I first got it, way too firm but then put a Helium 3.8 on it and now absolutely love it.
