Just wondered if anybody has experience of using portable power stations. I have seen a few on offer recently and was wondering how good they are? I know nothing about what the Wattage and W/h all means but the one I've seen is a BLUETTI EB3A 600W Portable Power Station 600w 268w/h. What would this be able to charge and are they better than having 3 or 4 power packs which is what I have currently? Thanks.

I've got one of these with a solar panel for French trips, too heavy for 2 or 3 day sessions here, I just use a couple of small Ankers for short sessions. The Amps is basically the size of the fuel tanks and the output watts is the power.

All depends on what you want to charge up really.
Phone and usb type stuff then stick with the smaller normal power banks.
Laptop, baitboat batteries, anything 3 pin mains type plug then maybe a power station. But then you run in to maybe needing a bigger station than the eb3a unless you add a decent solar panel.
I have the anker 555 as per the previous post and also the eb3a. I got the eb3a first as wanted something that would mains recharge super quick like if I'm fishing and go for a shower. Or also fairly fast recharge from solar.
The anker i got when it was on offer as it widens my potential use a lot when fishing away from mains power, it has almost 4 times the capacity of the eb3a but is bigger and heavier with it.
To help understand the very rough guide to power....
The eb3a at 268 WH
Will run an 80W device for approx 3 hours
Will run a 100W device for almost 2.5 hours
The anker 555 is 1024WH and will run the above examples for almost 4 times as long
