Hi everyone,
I have read somewhere in another thread about using whole egg / blood plasma combo to replace liquid egg in your mix. Can someone give me a ratio of egg/blood and what % in the mix would be best suited. The mix I'm rolling is primarily milk based with around 6% hydrolysed product. Rolling 20mm baits.
Kind Regards.
Charlie.

Never combined both but used them separately.
Whole egg powder was between 7-9% idem for blood plasma.
So, I would stay within that range

I favor blood plasma.
If you have time make a small batch of both.
You will see bait light be different for both

You can use Whole egg without ,blood plasma, the best is the 60% protein one , any less and you probably have less of the egg albumin left in the "whole " powder ,N.B.Egg albumin is more expensive than whole egg powder ,so they will mix surplus Yolk powder into the Whole egg in order to sell it. The lower the protein the less E.A. it contains.
To put it bluntly Blood Plasma will hardly do anything without whole egg powder with it ,it is like a two part glue where you are only using one part.
You generally need 1 parts Plasma to 2 parts whole egg, Been using blood plasma now for around 16 or 17 years , would have been using it a lot longer but did not know it required egg to " activate " it.
Fresh egg will also work with it to .

I agree with this as I used 80g of Egg Powder for 1kg dry mix. Didn't use Blood Plasma.

all very helpful, thankyou.
so lastly, on the AA baits site it recommends diluting the egg powder to make liquid egg.
Is this what most do, or do you simply add it to the dry mix and add water to the liquids and mix like that?
thanks again

I add it to the dry mix
My rules of thumb: all dry ingredients above 1% inclusion rates will be mix together.
