Does anyone know a company that refurbishes reels to the high standard that used to be done at Custom Reels. Haven't needed any work done since they packed up but now looking for a new company?

No doubting the quality of FAF's work but i do find the pricing of some of their parts a rip-off...!
I was looking at changing the rear rubber gaskets on my Basias from the standard black to red. It is just a rubber seal and FAF sell the standard black ones for £7.99 each....not too bad....the red ones though are a staggering £20 each....for a tiny bit of rubber....

It's reel model and brand dependant
My basias were £160 each but that includes a service which alone is £125
But smaller reels would be cheaper
I had mine done red & black with red spots on the spool where the drag is and on the back the big part was red in Chinese writing and under that it read TOURNAMENT

Have custom reels stopped trading altogether or just stopped doing reel modifications?
