There are some good deals currently on the mk1 sp c tech sleep systems. Just wondering whether the 5 season rating includes the cover which can be removed to maybe make it 3 season . I obviously don't want to be stuck with a 5 season through the warmers months, thanks .

The bed is great, but the bag is 3 seasons even with the overthrow I never feel warm when it's down to single digits. I bought the Gardner overthrow for it, which has made a difference. The actual bed is perfect.

Thanks for the reply . I currently have a fairly old flatliter mk 2 which is ideal for the warmer months and then have a cover when it gets colder . I just don't want to be too warm through the summer . Did you find that it folded up flat with the the bag and cover , thanks ?

Opposite for me I used it over winter and had to go down to a t-shirt in it. Find the bag to bulky and prob need to remove it and use just the thermal cover once warms up a bit. New one looks like it has a proper multi layer bag

I love my Solar C tech sleep system, certainly for comfort.
But I am totally over how heavy and cumbersome it is.
I am thinking of getting the much lighter: Solar Under Cover Pro Bedchair
Has anyone on here got one, any feedback?

Thanks for the replies . I did think of just the sp c tech bedchair with perhaps the fortis bag but then you're talking £500+ . Equally , there newer memory foam sp c tech sleep system looks ideal regards the two layer bag but 19kg and £550 🫣

It's a fantastic bedchair. The best I've ever had except I've got the wide version and it's too big for me. Don't know why I bought it in wide. So I'm currently selling it on Facebook and downgraded to the standard.

If you can try one first, the bed chair is really firm, sold mine pretty quickly gave me a back ache. Appreciate we are all different.
