Love the concept if the jet boil style Fox infared stove with the pots etc.....however....the stove itself is not great!
To light it the gas needs to be almost fully open which leads to a "whoosh" when it catches and a danger of singed eyebrows....🤣.....also it appears that the stove is designed to boil/cook things fast and nothing much in between, it doesn't seem to like running on low when cooking.
As an alternative I invested in a Bulin BL100, windproof stove, only £35 so a fraction of the price of the Fox. It has more traditional fold out legs but the Fox pots sit inside these almost perfectly...the wider legs also give a much more stable base for your pans/ridgemonkey toaster etc when cooking....you can also use a more traditional kettle on it as well without having to use the extra stand that comes with the Fox.
The Bulin lights with the gas open a fraction and has a much better low to high range than the Fox.

Highly recommended Tony....if you have one of the Fox pots it fits perfectly inside them as well for storage...

Has anyone had chance to compare to the T4 - T4 was always a good choice due to the pre-warmer, this doesn't seem to have one.

looking at its specs
it is a bigger stove and great for larger pans large ridge monkey toasters etc
and with todays performance gas`s that are propane butane mix will probably work ok in zero temps despite not having a pre heater pipe but time will tell these days we really dont get the extreme cold winters we used to
