Anyone have an idea on test curve on this rod. Been looking at them the LRS rod from free spirit.

Will only be used for long range work when needed as plans look like they've changed for next year.

I've had the tackle box CFX rod and that was very nice but fairly heavy for prolonged use. But I would have another just keen to see if the S lite is any better

I think its 3,75 but might be wrong

I have S lite 3,5lb rods and if there actually 3.5lb I'd be shocked as their very soft, completely unsuitable for any long rang fishing....

Lovely playing action but just no good for long range, I had to upgrade to TX2's to hit 22 wraps with bags....

Yea it's more the spomb rod. That was my worry if it was only around 3.75tc , surely that's too light to put a large spomb 140 yards +

Might have to look at the seeker or get the tackle box CFX spod rod again but in the 13ft

The S Lite Ive's would be 3.75 plus if they were TC rated so the SPM will definately be 4lb plus...

Yea I managed to talk to Steve at walkers today he said it's capable of over 180 yards. With it being branded a spod marker rod it had me worried.
