I use an Avid brolly system but would like a little more cover for things I can't put into it in bad weather, like my chair. Anyone tried putting a tarp over a brolly system to make more room at the front ??

The trouble with bad weather is it's often accompanied with wind. If you're not needing it army surplus rucksack covers or a barrow cover is what I use.

Agree.
I've been putting the stuff in my XL bedchair bag which Army Andy made for me, which is ok, but not ideal if it gets wet on my last night. But would be nice to have a bit more cover at the front though, and a second skin on some of the brolly.
It's a shame Avid don't do an extension for their system like Fox do.

i use a solar 60 inch brolly over the front of my bivvy, just stick a the pole in the ground,and use it when the weather turns . ive had all these social wraps ect, the rain still blows into the doorway,if like me you like to face were your fishing.
