Ive got the tempest brolly v2 , not used it for a few years. With it being nylon will i need to use a waterproofer? If so any recommendations?

No you won't need to reproof it , if you want to reproof it granger products fabsil seems to be the one

A coat of fabsil gold won't do you any harm and will help maintain but after 2 years it still should be absolutely fine. I got a nylon tempest composite around 5/6 years ago and it's not leaked once

If its nylon probably won't need it. Mine did 50 nights in last year. As good as new just make sure it goes away dry. If you do reproof it the standard will do no need for gold as nylon is not a breathable fabric. Takes a lot less looking after than my aquatex one.
