I need a new marker float
only ever going to cast a max of 120 yards and like the idea of changing the colour for different light conditions but my
QUESTION ESP Sonar Marker Float System
have you used one (not my mate ones) if so have you lost any of the changeable coloured ends

Never lost the coloured flite, but I've had 2 and have cracked the bodies. One in use, the lead banging against it cracked it. And one in my bag.

I had one of these years ago OG. Eventually the hollow clear plastic goes brittle and cracks letting in water. This was after a couple of years to be fair.

I would recommend the MCF floats as they are a dense foam. I haven't used it but they do one called the Menace that has changeable flights, I assume this is the same material as the others.

agh that was it the MCF one !!
bought of of Dennis years ago at a show just could not remember where I got it lost it in france now I will buy another

Just used a stiff boom section above the lead just long enough so the float cant reach the lead

Got all of the old style MCF floats still, the Lighthouse float is my favorite one to use due to its shape it sits nicely above the waterline by a few inches due to big tulip bulb shape at the base the long narrow stem and dart flight head, you can spot this float a long long way out problem is I dont think MCF (Johnson Ross) make this pattern anymore although the colour of the MCF floats are very bright and easily visible anyway.

The lighthouse is my choice too, didn't know they didn't make them anymore. Luckily they are pretty indestructible.

Yes I think you can only get the MCF Menace and Stealth float these days not any of the older shaped floats with the thicker bodies.
