Been looking at electric powered cool boxes and wanted to ask opinions/recommendations on products that don't necessarily have the carp tax. I've got a Coleman Xtreme 47ltr box and it's fine for a few days but I'd prefer something a bit smaller for shorter sessions with power.

So far I've narrowed down my requirements:

12v & mains power options
Size between 25-40ltr

Desirable requirements:

Temperature control

Anyone got an electric cooler?

What are you planning to power it with?

I've used a couple of cheapish ones, Outwell was one brand...used it in France

They tend to only get 17-18 or so degrees below ambient at best

Just wondering if its just for a shorter time than a few days
why go to all that agro with a big battery etc when a good quality cool bag or smaller coolbox would be fine for 24 to 48 hours IMO
I use a Costco titan cooler bag its perfect for upto 48 hours
