Yes absolutely, i found the bigger one harder to use in terms of reliability but the smaller one works every time. I found there is a real knack to them, i had to shorten the drop between my rod tip and air spod on the cast so it flew lower with a bit more force and since that discovery its been a brilliant tool. I normally come back about 5 or 6 rod lengths from the distance I'm fishing and hit the clip fairly hard, thats with 16mm baits and bigger tigers, you would definitely want to be a bit nearer with lighter particles though

I bought one of the larger ones to compare with the tfg airbombs i already have as i liked the look of the spring closing mechanism but after use i quickly went back to the airbomb midi
I found the dot air wasn't as accurate, reliable and the spread of wasn't quite as good as the airbomb

Yes, looks as though it will have a few applications. Beating the pesky robber gulls is the main aim, though.

When i was testing it out to get some methodology to it i found they seem really good for particles although i found 3 to 4 rod lengths shorter than the target zone was about right although i would imagine it would massively depend on casting style though. I generally use mine to top up an area beyond catapult range after a capture or if i want more of a natural spread of boilies and tigers so I haven't used it to exclusively bait a whole area up with particles yet as i like the pinpoint accuracy of the normal dot spods for the bulk of the baiting. The clip that comes supplied with both makes it simple to swap from one to another then i just adjust distance accordingly

I have the large and small , found the large unclips whilst preparing to cast quite a lot but the small one this isn't an issue.
