Hi all.
Looking at Braided mainlines, mainly for the lack of stretch. the waters are weedy (though no real swam muscle issues), so i do not what a heavy sinking line as have had issues with fluro etc sinking into week - would a so called neutral buoyancy line suit (once wet)?. id also like it to be good enough to cast 100/110 yards (or so).
A friend uses the Fox submerge in 40lb (not the newer naturals version)
the others from looking on hear that appear to tick the boxes are:
Korda Apex
PowerPro

I have used PowerPro extensively for piking, with no issues, although it's not a sinker.

Suffix 832 would be my go to 100%. Dave lane wrote something about it years ago and I used it as a result, really good braid. Great for casting, sinks well enough but won't bed down like the TA or noire, tough as old boots even in the thinner breaking strains. used it a lot over the years and always have a set of spools it on.

Power Pro Tim. You'll be able to chuck the 20kg stuff 100 yards. And it's bomb proof.

Thanks all. Rav, Roland, was going to message you both as saw your comments on previous threads re 832 and PP funnily enough.
Rav what lb for the 832?
Do any of you use a mono/fluro leader? if so, what knot? i've only ever used the FG but thats been for salt water with much thicker Fluro (ie 100lb strain) which i dont think will work with carp strains of fluro/braid

I've mainly used the 0.28 and it's been good for me. Still very capable for casting, and plenty durable for what I needed. 0.33 may be worth a look also for what you need.
Generally just fish it straight through to 4 foot of leadcore, although did use 6ft seaguar 0.47 leaders last year due to leadcore ban and worked well enough I'd happily use them again, used a Mahin knot to attach them.
I was a massive fluro fan, since swapping over to using braid again the last few years I can't see myself ever going back.
