Does anyone do a policy for a week in France.just wondered as have heard about vans being done at services etc and have also had a rod break on a organised coach trip before that they refused to cover

If you have travel insurance It might be worth checking with them to see what they cover on sporting goods/activities, If you have travel insurance but no sporting goods/activities cover some will offer a bolt on cover just check what level of cover they offer first.

I've had my annual travel policy with Coversure for years with cover for my fishing tackle/sporting activities think it cost me 110 quid for this years cover somewhere around that cost from memory.

It surprises me how many anglers cross the channel without even travel insurance a lot of my mates do it yearly I wouldn't chance it for what it costs.
