Was apparently shown at rayleigh angling direct open day yesterday. Looks like a rig component of some type based on some of the footage on instagrams

There is another thread in the General section and somebody mentions a spring loaded lead system. If you watch the vid on you tube showing people's reactions you can definitely hear something click shut.

As below, im pretty sure it's a spring loaded lead clip. I think it provides a constant tension on the fish like that elastic nash braid..unless you follow Carpy Shane in instagram..
