Has anyone got experience with the Fox Spomb X rods? I wondered if they are worth the money, as I know some people don't rate Fox rods.

Good rods,then they release a newer model and replacement sections become obsolete meaning your once good rod now becomes a very expensive back scratcher

Hated the original Fox Spomb rod, stiff as a poker and weighed a ton...

I get your point guys, but thing is that I can't get/find nice spod rods here locally. Only shimano, but don't really like the way they look.

The Tackle Box CFX spod? Very good value for money.

Good, I have two, one as a marker/leading rod, the other for it's intended purpose.

I am from the Netherlands, so tacklebox cfx isn't an option.
