A group of us is off in a few weeks and wondered if there are any boilie and bait recommendations from experience, as this will be our first visit to this particular lake on the complex.

I was on there 2 years ago and mostly used their boilies but can't remember which ones. Also had a lot of fish on sticky krill dumbells.
Mostly grass carp coming out at the moment I believe from someone I know on there at the moment, but this was yesterday's news.
Quite a few cats in there but they'll take pretty much anything so sometimes hard to stay away from them if you don't want them.

I was out there August 2021 and I got the feeling any quality bait will work. I use a custom Malarkey mix from ABS but others were catching on various fishmeals. We found the margins outfished any other areas of a pretty much uniform lake bed.

6 anglers
1 x 44lb common
7 x grass carp to 44lbs
6 x 30's to 39lbs5
6 x 20's to 29lbs11
1 x koi 34lbs5 caught twice**
Bait wise..
The Goncourt Carp have seen every size / flavour boillie on the market, so just use what you use in the UK and have confidence in !

In fairness, that's pretty slow going. We had 96 fish on our trip, including 5 x 50s.

Currently £2900 a week and only 1 week available in august this year and nothing else through to November next year.
You may be able to get some availability via someone that resells weeks like Dave Dyson especially if you don't want exclusive.
