Hello All ,

i haven't been over there for many years so Just after some information regarding Bowyers in the Lea Valley, i have heard that's like most of the lakes in the area its infested with crays but this lake is very bad for them and its very very shallow across the whole lake which is a surprise.

Is there much left to go at in there , I have seen a few good commons on the page but just wondered how many fish are estimated to be in there.

i know its an open place but what's it like for trouble as used to be rough back in the day over there.

Still a few gooduns to go at mate, absolutely stuffed full of crays, worst than the met and yes very shallow in general.

Probably the worst place for trouble ive had so far in the valley if im honest, had someone pull a knife on my last year while walking round which was fun lol

Reason for the question is i have been offered a ticket so just pulling feelers out lol

Thanks mate yes I heard it was worse than the met regarding the crays , which is crazy as the met is full with them lol

good to hear nothing has changed over there , will have to keep on guard then if i take the ticket.

Lee Valley Fisheries have just put on there Instagram page that Two Tone Quarter Lin as just been caught at a weight of 50lb 8oz a new lake record for Bowyers

ill have a look when home , might just take the ticket for another chance off a uk 50 !
