Ok, further to my thread about Spomb rod vs Spomb X, neither vendor that I am used to buying from has the Spomb X rod in stock.
I have been using a CTX SPM rod , but found it a bit heavy and hard work, until I lost the top section😭.
One thing I did see, is that my trusted vendor here in the U.S. has both the 12 ft Spomb LR and the Fox Horizon X4 Spod in stock , the Horizon costing slightly more than the Spomb rod.
Anyone know if there's much between them ?
I did see a couple of reviews which commented on how light the Spomb rod was, but can't find much on the X4.
Any thoughts, folks ?
