I have a prestige mk 8 power barrow which has a puncture in the rear small tyre.
I ordered a pair of mk 8 puncture proof rear wheels/tyres which duly arrived and dont fit ! So i rang korda and they have changed the axle on the mk 8, (no mention of this on the punture proof tyre spec) so i either return and lose postage both ways or buy new axle,s at £20 plus postage.. BUT they are out of stock.
Question -
Meanwhile ive still got a puncture, has anyone bought a new inner tube and fitted it, is it easy enough, the wheels are plastic not metal.
Alternatively has anyone used the spray in tyre weld and did it work ok ?

ive tried to get the tyre off and failed so far using the levers i use to change my bike inner tube!

Just had the same situation with my Nash Traxx barrow with a puncture in one of the smaller rear wheels.
Bought myself a new inner tube but try as I might I could not get the tyre off to fit it but then I watched a couple of “how to” videos on you tube and realised that despite it being a faff it really is just a matter of perseverance/patience with the tyre levers.
Couple of things, make sure existing inner is totally deflated and immerse in soapy water helps with both getting the tyre off and getting it back on again once new inner is in place.

Took my wheel to ATS who duly replaced the inner for a fiver.
Many places wont do this for a barrow tyre, but ATS were happy to.

Thanks. I went to halfords the tyre weld sprays are not suitable for such small tyres as they would blow it up.
After a lot of trying i got the tyre off with my bike tyre levers. Ive ordered anew inner tube off ebay. If i struggle i will try ATS.

This happened on my old barrow so I called the bloke who does my car tyres and he done it for me for £14

Had the tyre go on my Fatboy porter, bought a replacement online from a company that sells ride on lawn mowers,a far superior tyre to the supplied one.
Local garage fitted it for a fiver

New inner tube fitted, its a mare getting the tyre back on but i got there. Job done for a fiver on the inner tube.

I had a puncture in my barrow tyre. My mate had just got a new wheel cos his rubber was deteriorated but I decided to get a puncture outfit and save a few quid.
All done, quite easy.
The days of diy repairs are not yet dead.

my lads just got a puncture on his power porter and ive tried a few tyre centres and no one will touch it, any ideas?
