You might be able to pick up a Free Spirit CTX SPM for 150 quid? I'm very happy with mine.

If can stretch just a little bit more,The Tacklebox cf-x black edition Excellent rod with superb customer service if any issues

Agree that's a great rod. I'd be inclined with that or the shimano tx extreme. Tried them both and both very capable rods. Far more capable than an average caster will be
