Apologies if this has been done but been looking at longchuck for my distance fishing. I know it's a good casting line but does it sink well?? Been told it's almost wiry like fluorocarbon but without the weight so worried it's going to take and age to sink

Ive been using it since it came out and love the stuff, my general fishing up to 100yds is the 0.40 20lb, anything over that then I'd go for the tapered, normally the 12lb stuff.

One tip - keep it as wet as you can, the 0.40 is a bit wiry - but once it's wetted up, it's brilliant..

I used the 12lb version for 2 sessions and it did cast very well but found once past the tapered part you could snap it with your hands very easily
