I've had a fox ven-tec thermal bedchair cover for a while but have just noticed a stitched in loop with a plastic ring both sides at the head end . Can't say I've noticed these before - any ideas what these are for, thanks?

Could be to attach a storm pole so you can use it like a tarp. I think the Nash one has a similar thing

Yep exactly that. The d loop attaches to the top of fox sleeping bags to stop the cover slipping
