Looking for a new bivvy, got around £400 to spend. Split between the frontier and the tempest. Looking for something quick to set up and easy to move etc.

I have been a huge fan of the tempest and had almost all different ones, I fancied a change last year and got the frontier X I still have the tempest 100 aquatex but I much prefer the frontier I'll go as far to say it's my favourite ever bivvy

I have a frontier, haven't had any issues with it, the flat back is good to get the bed chair right back and plenty of room in front, I'm quite tall and can sit upright inside without my head touching the inside. Door is a little low but unless your in and out a lot it's not really a issue, goes up really fast and is strudy.

Always had various Tempest but changed last year to Frontier X, immediately regretted it due to the longer length which is a pain on the barrow and weighs a ton. Switched back to the Tempest Brolly and think its great.

I've been having mainly looking at the fox frontiers tbf. Probably be more interested in just the Normal frontier or the lite. Aren't Solar coming out with a new one soon?

Trakker all though the way although I have a trakker slx 2 man for long winter sessions and I also have a trakker day shelter off a mate as he had a new one cost me £150 and I got skull cap and front panel and another bag(can't remember what it is off top of my head as I've not looked at it)this is for my spring summer sessions and ideal for tight spots like on a canal towpaths which leaves a bit of room for people to get past.

Trakker tempest seems to be coming in slightly cheaper all in compared to the fox frontier, infill, groundsheet and stuff.

I'm happy with mine pal, although I'm sure the lads who use trakker will say the same about theirs, I haven't. Used a trakker bivvy so can't comment on them but I'd imagine there really good, been making them along time with a massive following of user's
Currently England angling have the frontier on sale for £350 if that helps, I looked at a frontier lite but you have to buy groundsheet etc separately, and although it's gonna be more than waterproof I got offered a frontier at £400 which at the time was £100 less than the rrp, so went for the full fat 20,000hh model

The standard frontier comes with groundsheet, infill pannel, solid door And camo mozi mesh door all included in the price, the lite version you have to buy separately but hence the price

Word is they had some issues with poles snapping on erection with one of the models, not sure which one

Tackle box Longtop? Very light, goes up quick, goes down quick and on a deal. Only downside is no rear vents.
