Hi all,
Just bought a Solar SP C-Tech Wide Bedchair. I currently have a Fortis/Snugpak bag which I love, but it's too small for this bed. Can anyone recommend anything similar, that's suitable for a wide bed please?
Preferences:
- All season/removable inner leaf design
- Breathable
- Not fleece lined
- Able to fold up in bed
- Not bothered about crash zip quality as I leave one side undone
The updated Gardner Duvet Plus looks like it ticks my boxes, but I did briefly own the original version in 2017 before I got the Fortis bag. I didn't get on with it as I felt it wasn't at all breathable and it was way too long. I would be interested to hear from anyone who uses this bag/bed combo as I know they have addressed the length issue with the updated model.

Thanks for your response Ian. How do you rate the Gardner bag? Do you find that it folds up in the bedchair easily enough?

It folds up fine in the bedchair, reasonably heavy but I'm never carrying it miles. I like the bag because it gives me loads of room to move about in and like you I'm not keen on fleece lined.

Have the Gardner Carp Duvet+ on mine as well.
I do like it overall, not too restrictive, no fleece! Not quite as warm as you expect it to be I think.
The weird shoulder baffles need to be removed as do find them a bit uncomfortable

Also got the gardner plus duvet bag on my wide solar bed and find it spot on. As mentioned remove the stupid baffle padding. I think its probably your only option.
