Just want to open this thread up to get people talking about honey. I know there's been talk on here before about it and I have read it, I think there's a lot we don't know about honey with regards using it in our carp baits. I have just started using it and have found a few things out already.
I bought Mānuka honey which was a mistake most of the stuff in the supermarkets is pasteurised which effects some of the properties in the honey the best honey is probably on my doorstep at a local farm it certainly isn't clear looking either.
I have also learned that heating honey to high temperatures denatures it.
What are peoples thoughts on its usage's etc?

There's a well known roller of bait down your way, pop in and say hello and ask him about Honey pop ups 👀😉
Down to my last pot.

It's very good as a glug for "active" hookbaits. No need for preservative in the bait as honey has anti bacterial properties.
