I haven't had the 3.25lb T/C but do own a pair of custom built 2.75lb mk1s. Very nice rods with a good blend of casting power and playing action. I'm an average caster and can put a baited rig about 100yds. When it comes to fish playing they have soft tips/upper half but a fairly 'steely' but section that is reassuring when you have to give a fish a bit of pressure.
I've owned mine for about 5/6, years, had a decent amount of fish on them up to mid thirties as well as a few small catfish and overall have no complaints.

Ive owned a set of the mk2 c2's and they are superb rods that will do almost everything. Mine had the titanium rings on as they were the limited edition run. I only sold them as i now have the stealth graphenes. The the new carbon reel seat on the mk2's with alps hoods is much better than the full all metal seat. Century don't make a bad rod so buy with confidence. Great customer service as well unlike free spirit who are shocking to say the least.
