Anyone own the future fishing powermesh rods in 12ft 3.25lb what's your thoughts on them

I've had a set of 3 for a while now, lovely rods. Very minimalistic look, full duplons, great for hurling a lead or fishing close in for small or big carp. I wouldn't hesitate in getting another set if I needed them.

I know its not the same but I have a pair of Daiwa powermesh Barbel rods
and they are terrific rods Daiwa make great rods IMO

For the money, Daiwa rods are the best I've used.
I've got an old set of Linears and am always on the lookout for any that pop up on eBay.

Been looking at these look good are they full duplon as they look like shrink wrap but can't see in photos what they are

I dont think daiwa have ever made a bad rod.

I would possibly agree if you adjusted that to ‘blank for the price point'. The DF range had some awful builds with backward 50mm rings on lovely 2.75 blanks.
I was hoping that after they lost the DF collaboration they would go back to releasing some nice rods for fishing as well as casting, but it seems they have gone the other way. I guess that is where the money is.
To the OP, I had some 9ft 2.75 Powermesh about 5/6 years ago that were brilliant for the money, I'd predict that the rods in question will be great value.
